altHitachi ha annunciato nei giorni scorsi, il taglio di crica 7.000 dipendenti appartenenti alle divisioni elettronica e automotive. La decisione è stata presa in virtù di una perdita netta di circa 700 miliardi di yen, circa 6  miliardi di euro. Questa mossa fa parte di un piano anti-crisi che prevede appunto il taglio del personale ed una riduzione delle spese legate ai costi fissi per un risparmio totale di 200 miliardi di yen. Nello specifico, 4.000 lavoratori delle attività automotive saranno lasciati a casa oppure trasferiti,  così come gli altri 3.000 del settore elettronica e televisori.
