Dopo le primzie di melone pagate a primavera circa 9000 Euro arriva un'altra pazza stranezza giapponese. Nella prima asta del 2009 al mercato Tsukiji del pesce di Tokyo, il più grande del mondo, è stato battuto un tonno rosso di 128 kg a circa 75.000 euro. Il pesce appartiene alla rarissima e pregiata qualità  "pinna blu", è stato pescato nel mare settentrionale del Giappone nei pressi di Oma. Il tonno di elevatissima qualità, finirà venduto a peso d'oro ad esclusivi ristoranti di Sushi che proprio con alcune parti del tonno preparado nigiri e sashimi tra i più costosi tra le varietà disponibili.
