PSP.pngStando a quanto riportato ufficiosamente da vari siti web e da Media Create stessa, la nuova PSP3000 avrebbe venduto in Giappone 141270 unità nei primi 4 giorni di commercializzazione. Questo nuovo modello, oltre alle vendite attuali, ha anche fatto alzare le vendite nelle settimane precedenti dei precedenti modelli di PSP cioè la 1000 e la 2000, il tutto dovuto all'hype che stava attorno al portatile di casa Sony.

Il nuovo modello di PlayStation Portable è disponibile anche nei negozi italiani venduta in bundle a 199 euro con un gioco. Il nuovo modello è dotato di microfono integrato, schermo più performante rispetto al modello precedente ma dimensioni invariate rispetto al precednete modello.
