Proprio alcuni giorni orsono avevamo segnalato che vi era ancora qualche incertezza sulla presenza, annunciata da molte voci, estere e italiane, del regista Hayao Miyazaki alla 65ª Mostra di Venezia in occasione della proiezione, il 31 agosto, della sua ultima fatica, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea (Gake no ue no Ponyo).

Oggi, a sorpresa, grazie ad una segnalazione proveniente proprio dalla città lagunare, possiamo sciogliere le riserve: il giornalino quotidiano Ciak, che si occupa di fatti ed eventi che avvengono quotidianamente alla Mostra, ha annunciato che oggi, 30 agosto, Miyazaki è arrivato a Venezia.

Proprio oggi, si svolgerà la proiezione del film per la stampa, alle ore 22:00 nella Sala Perla, a cui domani seguirà la conferenza stampa alle 9:00 al PalaLido prima delle proiezioni ufficiali, che avverranno domenica 31 agosto alle ore 12:00 al Casinò e alle ore 17:00 presso la Sala Grande. Il film sarà presentato sottotitolato, con la traduzione ad opera di Elisa Nardoni.
