E' finalmente online il primo breve trailer di Hokuto no Ken - Kenshiro densetsu ZERO con le prime immagini del film che sarà proiettato nelle sale giapponesi dal 11 ottobre (preceduto dall'anteprima il 4 di ottobre al Cinema Sunshine di Tokyo), praticamente in contemporanea con la trasmissione televisiva della nuova serie animata Hokuto no Ken: Raoh gaiden - Ten no haoh, basata sul manga omonimo di Yuko Osada (The Wonderful Legend of Toto) che racconta l'ascesa al potere del temuto re di Hokuto.

Kenshiro den, che finalmente avrà come protagonista principale il successore della sacra scuola di Hokuto, è l'ultimo dei cinque nuovi anime del progetto Hokuto no Ken shin kyuseishu densetsu, allestito per festeggiare il 25° anniversario del manga di Tetsuo Hara (disegni) e Buronson (storia).

Il 4 luglio scorso il primo dei nuovi film d'animazione dedicati a Hokuto no Ken, Raoh gaiden junai-hen, è arrivato anche nei cinema italiani grazie all’operato congiunto di Yamato Video, Dolmen e Mikado, col titolo Ken il guerriero - La leggenda di Hokuto, posizionandosi quarto al boxoffice e raccogliendo il discreto favore della critica.
