Il tradizionale manto bianco è diventato di colpo verde e i visitatoridello zoo di Higashiyama a Nagoya, in Giappone, hanno iniziato atempestare di domande i gestori della struttura, preoccupati per lasorte degli orsi bianchi. Una strana malattia? Muffa? Niente di tuttociò: è tutta colpa delle alghe del laghetto in cui gli animali nuotano,che in estate sono proliferate per via delle elevate temperature. E’difficile pulire quella nota verde dal pelo bianco degli orsi, diconoallo zoo, perché si annida in profondità. Quindi, non resta cheaspettare novembre quando le alghe con il freddo diminuiranno e gliorsi torneranno ad essere bianchi.
