nuclear station, japan, kashiwazaki, kariwa,Un incendio è oggi scoppiato nella cabina della pompa di raffreddamento del reattore numero 1 nella centrale nucleare di Kashiwazaki-Kariwa nella Prefettura di Niigata, causando lievi ustioni al volto di un lavoratore. Nessuna fuga radioattiva dal reattore è stata rilevata.
La centrale nucleare in questione, la più grande del mondo in termini di produzione, è stato chiuso il 16 luglio 2007 in conseguenza del grave terremoto di magnitudo 6.8 che colpì la zone causando la morte di 10 persone.
