altLe autorità giapponesi hanno consigliato alla popolazione di indossare mascherine per proteggersi dalle ceneri nei centri urbani vicini ai 2 vulcani che hanno cominciato ad eruttare in queste ore. I vulcani in questione sono quello del monte Asama, 150 chilometri a Nord-Ovest di Tokyo e quello del monte Sakurajima nel sud del Giappone.

La Jma ha inoltre messo in guardia dalla possibile caduta di rocce nel raggio di 4 chilometri dal monte Asama, anche se per ora è soprattutto la cenere vulcanica a creare problemi in un ampio raggio e non si riscontrano danni alle strutture urbane o alle persone.
