Si è tolto la vita 102 anni, terrorizzato dalla possibilità di essere obbligato a lasciare la sua casa. Questo è quanto è accaduto in Giappone in un una piccola cittadina vicino ad Iitate a 40 km dalla centrale nucleare di Fukushima n.1. L'uomo si è tolto la vita dopo che il Premier giapponese Naoto Kan ha espresso la volontà di voler ampliare l'area di evacuazione intorno alla centrale, che a questo punto comprendeva anche la sua abitazione.
