AMAGASAKI - Il Giappone ha una nuova arma contro l' obesità: il metro. Un legge varata due mesi fa, infatti, prevede la misurazione del giro-vita di dipendenti pubblici e privati, chi supera i limiti (per i maschi 85,09 centimetri) verrà sottoposto a ulteriori controlli. E le aziende e gli amministratori locali che non riusciranno a far dimagrire i propri impiegati dovranno pagare multe salate. Ma c' è chi protesta: i limiti imposti dal governo sono troppo severi e metà dei giapponesi sarà definito obeso.
