tottoriTottori - Sabato, nella prefettura di Tottori, è iniziato il festival della scultura di sabbia, che vede al lavoro artisti da più di 10 paesi in tutto il mondo. Il tema è "Le fiabe del Mondo". 

Il festival durerà fino al 31 Maggio e ci si aspettano circa 200 mila persone. Per l'occasione saranno preparati un gelato alla pera e ramen al granchio.

Le sculture sono 19 e per realizzarle sono stati necessari 2700 tonnellate di sabbia. La più grande scultura è un tableau alto 8 metri e largo 30, che riproduce un castello medieval, Gulliver con i Lillipuziani, Raperonzolo e Cenerentola. 

Dopo il tramonto le statue verranno illuminate fino alle 9.
